We are celebrating Canada’s Birthday and the new HST (Harmonized Sale Tax) here in Ontario.

Unfortunately, our current shopping cart will not allow the new tax changes that have come into effect starting July 1, 2010, or at least I have not figured it out yet!

We ask that you please e-mail your orders to myorder@dawbonartstudio.com until we are able to get things up and running.  For those of you that place orders before we are able to make our changes you will receive an additional    13% off your orders.

    PARDON! 

    It has finally happened. The City of Barrie, Ontario, Canada id having the 1st Annual Great Canadian Beaver Race and Festival. The Kempenfelt Rotary Club and Hospice Simcoe are having a very special fund raising event. They have offered local artist to paint a beaver statue to be displayed in the City over the summer months and then to take part in the festival events in September. Georgia is one of the lucky artists decorating one of these beasts.  To give you an idea...this statue weighs about 50 lbs. is 3 1/2 feet tall, 4 feet long and 3 feet wide. YES THAT IS RIGHT! Georgia will be blogging her progress and the final result. Watch here for results updates.
